Appraisals

Sometime ago I received an inquiry enclosed in this letter was a photocopy of what was called Who’s Who in the Tipping Business and whilst it is a little
dated and I cannot validate it. It gave appraisals of many services.

Over the years I lost many thousands of pounds by subscribing to almost 70 tipsters, services, racing journalists, relay clubs and various advisors. In the beginning I was
green and very naïve, often in financial dire straits and desperate after quick money. Later on I was buying them out of curiosity (mixed with hope). Only very few of the services I tried were genuine, most of them were dirty and almost criminal deception. Here are my personal views and experiences and I hope it will help you to avoid the mistakes I made during my rough ride.

Willie McFarland – one of the most genuine advisors I have ever experienced. Had fantastic and profitable year when I joined him in 1999. Year later he had little problems, but finished his daily line in style – Major Adventure at massive 20/1 and Rubbahunish 6/1, two nailed on winners in one day. This was the first and so far the only time I ever had 20/1 winner £200 straight win and I will never forget how it feels.
Willie now runs his private so called maximum bet odds to service and although
he may have a losing run, seems to be able to make long-term profit.

Ibin St James

Deserves a special mention for his part in the Maximum Bet Odds To service. For many people this name will conjure-up happy memories. For many of them he is a true legend, a horse that was a maximum bet winning 6 races and bet each time.

25/08/99              Worcester           Won      16/1-8/1

20/09/99              Hereford             Won      5/2-7/4

04/12/99              Towcester           Won      10/1-7/1

04/03/00              Huntingdon        Won      6/1-3/1

24/11/02              Fakenham           Won      7/1-4/1

22/02/03              Huntingdon        Won      5/1-4/1

The Maximum Bet service still exists but there has not been a recommended bet for some time. Something that will change I am in the process of organising this service which was hugely successful making many people a lot of money. At one stage it was incredibly difficult to get a bet on these horses and indeed some y ears ago on 2 occasions one horse was clipped from 33/1 -3/1 favourite without a single bet being placed and another 14/1-2/1 with very few bets recorded both horses where recommended 10 minutes before the race time. The betting situation is different now days with more opportunities to place bets. When I feel we have a group of horses that we can go forward with then I will start this service again. Hopefully very soon!
